Wandahl studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1879. He also attended the Artists Study School where he was a pupil of Laurits Tuxen and P.S Kröyer. Wandahl was a multi-talented artist who besides working with art, also had a very successful career as a director and as an actor at the theater. Wandahl also owned one of Denmark’s first cinemas “ Nörrebro Biograf” which he opened in 1912. Wandahl works are very rare and consist mostly of landscapes and harbour scenes that he worked on while touring with the theaters.
