Lundstrøm is one of the greatest modernists of all time and introduced French Cubism in Denmark. He was educated at the Royal Art Academy in 1913 where he was a pupil of Rostrup Bøyesen. His most famous scenes are geometric still-life’s with oranges and cubistic scenes with nudes. In the late years before his death Lundstrøm changed his style from completely cubism to a more loose modern art form where he worked with contrasts in colours and form.
