Svend Drews was the younger brother of Kaj Drews the Famous Danish Artist. Much of his works have been featured in the magazine “Vikingen”. Svend Drews was a naturalistic artist and known for his striking snow landscapes and seascapes from about Scandinavia. The work of Svend Drews is hung in Amelienborg, the Danish Royal Family Residence. The painting “Lodsforeningen” was given as a gift to Denmark’s King Frederick IX.
