Sigrid Steenstrup belonged to a special group of young painters, who worked together in the Art school of Rostrup Bøyesen between 1940 and 1950. She did several landscapes both around in Denmark and in Europe but is mostly known for her special landscapes from her hometown and the surroundings in Fur, Denmark.
