Pupil of Professor Grünewald. Educated at the school of Gromaires in Paris, 1937.
Barnekow worked and traveled around Scandinavia, Germany, France and Italy. Barnekow is primarily known for his paintings and sculptures, but was also the author behinds several novels and newspaper articles under the pseudonym, Jens Jarmer. Barnekow has been exhibited at Charlottenborg and at several other exhibitions in Paris and Sweden.
