Pupil of Hans Christian Koefoed. Borch was one of few Danish artists who were strongly influenced by late German expressionism. Not only was Borch strongly influenced, but borch also managed to further develop it in 1920 and created what was later called “ mystic romance temperament” Borch worked on many forest scenes and was fascinated by nature. Many of his works show a strong powerful appreciation of nature and are lively detailed.
Travels
Borch traveled and worked all around Scandinavia and in Germany: 1922, 1923, 1931. Belgium: 1925. and Paris: 1926. Borch has been exhibited all around Europe and at the Brooklyn Museum in the United states.
