Niels Ibsen Nielsen was born in Holsted, Denmark in 1891. He was educated at the Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen in 1919 and has travelled in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France and Holland. He have been exhibited at Kunsternes efteraars udstilling from 1917, at “Kleis” and the exhibition Frie Jyske Malers Udstilling.
