Knud Olsen was primary an landscape painter and painted regularlt in “Dyrehaven”, the grand park connected to the amusement park “Bakken” in Denmark. He also travelled around in Denmark to portray the magical Danish landscapes he loved so much. His travels took him to cities and villages including Jyderup, Vinderod and Snekkersten, where he stayed and concentrated on capturing the special light and shadows he found in Danish landscapes and villages.
