Jørn Glob was son of the artist Johannes Glob and known for his many forest scenes. Glob was also known for his extremely detailed drawings. Glob had a special passion for the Danish forests and made several special exhibitions where he exhibited many paintings of the same forest motif but painted in different seasons. He also surprised his audience by exhibiting many forest scenes painted 3 hours apart and thus showing how the light is the major influence in art.

Educated at the Royal art academy Copenhagen 1940.
