Jens Sinding Christensen was the elder brother of Svend Sinding Christensen and like his brother he was a marine artist and mainly concentrated on harbour and ship motifs. He had his debut exhibition at Kunstnernes Efteraarsudstilling (the Artists’ Fall Exhibition) in 1911 and from 1927 until two years before his death, he exhibited at Charlottenborg. He is listed in Davenport’s Art Reference and Price Guide.
