H. Chr. Hansen also painted under the name H.C. Vantore.
Highly talented and born with a great gift, Hansen got accepted at the Royal academy in 1881.He was only 20 at that time. He was also a pupil of the Master painter L. Tuxen. Pupil of and attended P.S. Kröyers School of Art from 1883-84. With the influence of the Skagenpainters of his time, Hansen concentrated on working on portraits and is today permanently exhibited at many Danish Museums.
