Hans Christensen Hansen also painted under the name H.C Vantore.
Highly talented and born with a great gift, Hansen was accepted at the Royal Academy in 1881.He was only 20 at that time. He was also a pupil of the Master painter L.Tuxen. He was pupil of and attended P.S Krøyers school of art from 1883-84. With the influence of the Skagenpainters of his time, Hansen concentrated on working on portraits and is today permantly exhibited at many Danish Museums.
