Einer Parslev typically made portraits, landscapes and flower-paintings. In his landscapes, in particular, you can see the strong influence by his fellow Danish artist L.A Ring. From 1950, Parslev worked a lot with the light and shadows in his paintings. Parslev belonged to the group of artists that didn’t got influenced by modernism or changes in art. They wanted to uphold the traditional Danish values as it was before the turn of the century. Parslev has been exhibited in Denmark and Canada.
