Christian Asmussen was a pupil
of Soren Lund in 1894. He was educated at the royal art academy in Munich, Germany in 1896, and at the school of N.V Dorphs in 1908. Asmussen worked abroad most of his carrier and spent many years in the German cities Luzern and Rothenburg. Asmussen begun his carrier with working on theater decors and traveled all around Europe to decorate Europe’s finest theaters in Germany, Norway, Italy and Austria. Later Asmussen returned to Denmark to concentrate on working with paintings. Asmussen worked primarily with landscapes and was know for his bright forest scenes from the nature park “ Dyrehaven” in Denmark.
