Educated at Royal Art Academy in 1875, Lund worked primarily with land and cityscapes from Scandinavia. Lund was influenced by Peter Mønsted concerning his use of colour and lights. Lund also worked with porcelain while he painted and worked for the Royal Porcelain Fabric from 1872-1895 and worked with Herman A. Kähler from 1886-1888. Lund is known for his great ability to capture the Nordic charm and his scenes always shines with lights and charisma.
