Educated at the Royal Academy of fine arts in 1851. Pupil of J.L Lund.
Bögh begun his carrier with working primarily on landscapes and figure scenes. Later Bögh concentrated on working on animal scenes and became known for his portraits of horses, cows and deer’s. Many of his works were done at Gl. Restrup where he spent his holidays every year. Bögh also worked with capturing the wildlife at the nature park in Dyrehaven. Bögh worked all around Denmark and also traveled in Brussels and Paris in 1861. And in Germany and wienna in 1862.
