Sornum was a man of many talents. He was an author of surrealistic poems, a painter and a graphic designer. He was educated at the Academy Julian in Paris, and in the beginning of his career he was known for his graphic works of arts and paintings that combined oil with materials like nails, wood and paper. Later, Sornum worked with oil on canvas and was known for his modern and abstract compositions. Sornum used the American “Action-painting” technique and eventually became something of a Danish pop-artist. Sornum has been exhibited in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Venice, Italy.
