Moe was educated at the Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen and a pupil of Johan Rohde and the Danish master painter P.S. Kroyer. He painted many of his paintings in Bornholm, the Danish island he loved the most, and also travelled to Belgium, France and Italy. Moe has been exhibited many times in Denmark.
