Stegler was a landscape painter and known for his landscapes from the Danish island Bornholm and from the coasts of Zealand. Most of his paintings are painted in naturalistic style mixed with modernism. Besides landscapes he has also done a series of popular portraits.
Education:
Pupil of Ole Olsen and educated at the Royal art Academy in Copenhagen 1913.
Stegler also studied at minor art schools in Dresden and Berlin, Germany.
