Aage Giødesen is known for his very special “glass” painting technical.
He invented a unique oil art form that makes his paintings looks like
glass paintings. Gallery owners often exhibit his works in front of lamps
or other light forms.
Aage Giødesen was educated at the Royal art academy in 1883.
Pupil of Carl F Andersen, Vermehren and Carl Bloch.
Worked as a drawing teacher at the Royal Navy officer school 1886-1907
He traveled a lot around Europe, especially Germany where he lived from 1884-86
Exhibited at the World Fair Exhibition in Chicago 1893 and frequently at Charlottenborg.
